Condé Nast Traveler and Assouline Publishers selected the David Drebin Pop-Up Store - three doors down from the illustrious Palm Beach Grill in Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana Plaza - to host their chic reception celebrating “Condé Nast Traveler Room With A View” which showcases the cinematic photography of David Drebin, as featured on the cover in the publication’s March issue. Inspired by Condé Nast Traveler’s monthly feature, “Room with a View,” the like-titled book features frame-worthy vistas from around the world, with Drebin’s cover shot capturing the breathtaking view from the 12th floor of The Standard Hotel in New York City, overlooking High Line Park and the Hudson River. “What a magical and memorable evening,” said the store owner and director. “Not only is it an honor to have one of Drebin’s photos featured on the cover of both the March Issue of the publication and The Room With A View Monograph, but I am also thrilled to have received the support of an impressive list of sponsors including Condé Nast Traveler and Assouline. Attendees included event honoree David Drebin, philanthropist and Chair of the Caron Renaissance Gala, Petra Levin, acclaimed thriller novel author, James Patterson, and numerous Palm Beach society members and art collectors. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés while browsing the artist’s exclusive collection of epic cityscapes, cinematic dreamscapes, and a variety of other glamorous scenes from around the globe. Notably, a percent of the proceeds of the evening’s sales of art were donated to the Lifesaver Scholarship Fund at Caron Renaissance, a nationally recognized non-profit drug and alcohol treatment center and part of the Caron network.
